Our Story

Milkhouse Market took root in 2025, but its story stretches back much further — into the heartbeat of a third-generation family farm in Ingleside, Maryland. For decades, the Palmatary family poured their lives into dairy cattle, early mornings drifting into long days beneath the same barn beams that had sheltered generations before them. When the dairy herd was sold, the milkhouse fell still.

Dylan, the youngest of the family, couldn’t imagine letting the farm fade into history. Alongside his fiancé, Jessica — whose 20+ years of experience in the Angus industry shaped their vision — and his sister, Tabetha, who brings a deep understanding of sales, marketing, and customer service, they wrote a new chapter for the farm: one rooted in quality, community, and family legacy.

Today, Milkhouse Market offers locally raised, purebred Angus beef — grass fed, grain finished, and shaped by generations of learned care. Located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, just 45 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, we proudly provide custom-cut beef by the quarter, half, or whole. We also provide individual cuts for local pick-up and delivery, along with convenient subscription bundles tailored to your needs.

This business is more than a way to feed our neighbors; it’s a way to keep our family’s land alive. Our dream is to breathe life back into the old dairy milkhouse, transforming it into an on-site market filled with local goods, connection, and community. A place where customers can shop, learn where their food comes from, and become part of something rooted and real.

At the heart of all of this is our daughter, Peyton, just two years old. Everything we build today is with her future in mind — to keep the Palmatary farm alive and thriving for generations to come.

Welcome to Milkhouse Market. Where heritage meets homegrown.
